If people loyal to Trump had the servers, with the slam dunk evidence, the Democrats would already know since it's been a week.
There is also this story Reports of alleged U.S. Army raid on German server may stem from separate incident, say experts. Even people at or near the top can get stories confused. Back in July German police raided a hacking group called Distributed Denial of Secrets that had been hacking U.S. police computers. This was reported by AP and Speigel in July.
