President Trump’s campaign repeatedly cited the US Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in the 2000 election in a bid Wednesday to keep challenging Joe Biden’s projected victory in Pennsylvania.
Lawyers Marc Scaringi and Brian Caffrey alleged in court papers that Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar allowed voters to “cure,” or fix, their improperly cast absentee and mail-in ballots in Democratic-leaning counties while officials in other counties “adhered to the law.”
“Under Bush v. Gore, presidential candidates have an interest in having lawful votes counted and unlawful votes invalidated,” they wrote.
“This is particularly true in Pennsylvania, a…swing state where the vote margin is close. While Defendants breathlessly elide the merits, Plaintiffs have unquestionably suffered constitutionally redressable injury.”
The Trump campaign’s Williamsport, Penn., federal court filing also pointed to a Tuesday ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that overturned a Nov. 5 order mandating that election observers be allowed to monitor vote-counting operations from six feet away.
“If this decision is correct, the Pennsylvania mail ballot voting system is so porous that it violates Due Process,” the lawyers wrote.
“Of course, under Bush v. Gore…this Court need not accept the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s interpretation of state law on an issue which impacts a presidential election.”

Wasn’t it Gore V Bush?
These are completely different cases, this is not a valid comparison!
In Bush vs Gore a Democrat was challenging an Republican’s claim to victory. Because of that the press held off for 37 days in projecting a winner. There were no absurd pictures of Bush in front of an “Office of the President Elect” sign, and no one complained much that Bush received no security briefings.
This year it’s a Republican challenging a Democrat, which is clearly a threat to the very foundations of our Democracy. Besides, the Republican’s claims are baseless and without evidence, and everyone knows they are false anyway.
You would cry too if it happened to you.

Was FOXs early, bizarre, aberrant call of AZ a signal to start the cheat for Biden? (Crazy vanity)
The call of Arizona, by Fox, when made (9:20pm AZ time I believe) was so outrageous, so premature, so stunning that everyone was caught off guard and shocked by it. Could the call of AZ have been a benign, right-out-in-the-open way that the domestic and international fraudsters could easily see it and know what it meant (start the steal) while the rest of us were caught flatfooted, scratching our heads over it?
The skinny on this.
In the Gore case, the SCOTUS said that the state legislatures make the rules on voting. It’s in the U. S. Constitution. Any vote contrary is unlawful and shouldn’t be counted.
We don’t have to prove 100,000 cases of fraud.
We have to prove only the vote count when the voting should have stopped as per written state law rules.
Judges can’t alter. Election boards can’t alter. Only the legislature.
It’s an easy procedural win in PA and in GA. In Georgia, they ignored legislative law and tried to go around it with a consent decree.
90% we won both those states at the SCOTUS.
Fight is really in MI WI AZ and NV.
