The new Congress takes office prior to the House vote, if there is one, and the balance in the new Congress is 26 or 27, depending on how the remaining undecided Iowa House race turns out, Rs to 19 (max) for the Ds. There are 4 split delegations and the Iowa delegation will either be R or the 5th split.
they are steamrolling the remainder of the order without one item #4.
knudsen objects on the basis that the vote should be on the totality of the order, not piecemeal. knudsen wants the dates in #4 removed and the paragraph refer to the statute. he also is concerned that he has not had a version to review without advance notice.
the democrats are saying the reason the order was delayed until now is because the attorney general was feeling ill (!?!?!?!— imho severely lame).

the democrats don’t even want to put a date (nov 2020) on the WEC manual. there have been about 3 or 4 revisions to the 2018 manual (so far not approved?).
the democrats want to approve the timetable before the manual and they want to make late november changes to the 2020 manual.
The commission is 3 -3, so don’t expect any changes.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew the number was over 26 but didn’t have the exact number. 32 states creates a comfortable majority.

So legally you can not back dte a law I would think..........they could change for the net election but I would think the SCOTUS would sy this is illegal to go back to correct votes
