"hurricane tracks", yeah, that's a new one.

Putting aside the mid-Obama NHC/WMO 'decision' to 'immediately name lesser storms' >70mph, the idea of 'tracks' decided by anything other than opposing centers of pressure is amusing, at best, as much so as the 'decision' to 'immediately name lesser storms'.

I learned a long time ago that people are mostly stupid or greedy, and sometimes they try to kill you. Best to not turn your back on them.

Compare any of the whose who to Sidney Powell and the conclusion is obvious.

If this guy really knew his "science" he'd know that in the last four years the US has reduced CO2 emissions faster than the signatories of the Paris Accords. The main consequence of withdrawing from the Accords is those same signatories aren't fleecing the American taxpayer while they don't do much of anything.

I went through a period of “intellectual superiority” in my 20s as all of my friends were blue collar and I had gone to college.

I was superior in intellect and ability!! Poor peasants!!

Until I realized that most of these guys could build a house from scratch given the resources needed.

They fixed everything on their own, put things together that I couldn’t even start, were great mechanically while I almost filled my oil container with anti freeze.

They also made a fortune in the government sector is cops and firemen doing overtime. One managed a liquor warehouse and made well over 100k.

at 52, they are all married with children and have beautiful homes and are already retired AND making good money working part time.

So now, at 52, they spend their evenings with their families in their beautiful homes, financially comfortable while I’m half broke, single and sitting here typing on FR while eating stale potato chips :)

Joining the FR board during the day is the highlight of my day.

I don’t know if that’s a good thing...or not....

The most dangerous people are those who are educated beyond their intelligence.

Anyone who has to TELL you that they’re smart - is an imbecile.

"Surprise: The "Smartest" People Are Actually Painfully Stupid Indoctrinated"

I will initially give people the benefit of the doubt on stupid because many times they have probably been indoctrinated up to their eyeballs.

Insights welcome.

The most “educated” people seem to have all the common sense “educated” out of them.

I’ve seen examples of this my entire life.

.....Science is back! After four dreadful years of the “anti-science” Trump, we are now going to see, with Biden, the restoration of “science” to its rightful place in the formulation of public policy.....

A recent issue of the leading scientific journal “Nature” had article after article in its front section saying the same thing. But there was NO MENTION of biden’s dementia!!!!

“You got to follow the science!!!!” A demented president is in no way competent to understand science—let alone “bring it back”! All he can do is to be manipulated by his handlers to give the appearance of making science “important once again”.

And that might REALLY mean making globalism important once again, which is the last thing we “deplorables” (even those of us with Harvard degrees) want!!!!

I have a Harvard Business School in-law who lost power in a storm. I let him borrow my generator, which he retrieved in a borrowed pickup. He ran the generator from the pickup bed for 3 days while it melted the bed liner.

He might be able to borrow my generator again, but maybe not that pickup truck.

The common opinion about our professors when I was in college back in the 60s was that they weren't smart enough to make it in the private sector so they taught school.

We called it college dumb.

I worked with one PHD who was in his 60’s that lid not know what it meant when the low oil light came on in his car, and I’d think to myself Bob, do you not understand the laws of thermo dynamics?,
If an experiment went wrong he would always declare “How could this happen?” well you obviously forgot a few factors, so let regroup and try again.

He had a young single pretty female PHD working for him and she delegated some of her work to me which freed up her time and we would meet for breakfast and hike in the hauchuca mountains together.

I never made my move, thinking I was below her.

People, we are dumb all over.

The Peter’d Out Principle in action.

Western Civilization Decays From Within. CONGre$$ agrees to fund more of same.

Institutions of higher learning long ago left this cerebral affair with fantasy and self-governance and ascended to more heady issues.. or somethin’.

More concerned with rewriting&editing history rather than learning from it, they forge ahead, well funded and determined to change the world, in the name of equality, diversity and conformity, damn the consequences.

God help us all.
