Good for you for sending the care packages.
It really makes a difference. I havent done it in awhile but during Bush Years I sent a lot every week.
I tried not to get attached to anyone in case they got killed.
I sent most to those that were forlorn, weary, didnt have anyone to send them anything, etc.
I was always kind of amazed that they trusted strangers to send them things..because it could have been poisoned.
