might be because people love to pet dogs- even strangers when they see a dog will walk up- talk to owner, pet it- maybe that is why?

They claim supermarket home deliveries are more risky than visiting a shop in person.

IOW, the long and short of it is, everything they have been telling us to do actually puts us MORE at risk for catching the virus than not.

You’d almost think it was intentional.........

I follow the same hygiene guidelines as my dog. If something smells vaguely like it is edible and has been on the ground for less than a year, it gets gobbled up. Maybe I puke it out later when on the bed or couch or the carpet.

I consider anything delivered to my home as contaminated. When it is brought inside, it is segregated for a day if it can wait and disinfected if it cannot, then hands and handles washed.

If one is concerned about infection, then this is what should be done. Most people, including those worried, can’t be bothered to put their masks on correctly and quit touching everything, including their eyes and under their masks.

why on earth would home delivered groceries increase your risk to getting covid by 94%

Who knows if the assertion is true. But stipulating for argument that it is true, it could be because the groceries are put in a car which has had a lot of varying objects from varying places also put in it, while not being disinfected, by another person in the supply chain - and then the recipients behavior might be different, and bypassing cleaning either deliberately or effectively.

Oh, here we go with the dogs, too. What next, goldfish? This is why their creeping authoritarianism can never fully take root: they trip themselves up in their zeal for administering clinical cruelty.

Perhaps the dog provides enough low-level exposure to simply immunize the owner without harming or killing the owner. If it’s 78%, then my entire family and I should have the antibodies by now.

they can take their ‘study’ and put ti where the sun don’t shine. This dog owner walks said dog daily (she insists) and neither of us have caught the Chinese flu therefrom. I am 71 (nearing 72) and refuse to live in fear of a virus that is about as deadly at the seasonal flu. Life is too much fun to be hiding indoors. Live free of libs and their dictatorial edicts.

Just food for thought. A lot of senior citizens died without seeing their family for months. Do you think they’d rather died of covid 3 months earlier while spending every day with their family, or dying 3 months later naturally after six months of living in isolation?

Just for information, this is basically what happened to my 86 year old father. To hell with all these covid alarmists

Personally, I would much rather spend time with family and friends. These draconian isolation measures are anti-human.
