A new workers/freedom/nationalist party would have a different base than the current GOP. A third of the GOP are globalist/open border/free trade Chamber of Commerce cheap labor hacks. We ditch them and add 50 million workers + the current middle class base.
A million times easier to take over and rebrand the existing party than to start a new one. Rat base more than firm enough to easily prevail in any 3-way scenario.
