When they reach the limit it is often “sudden death”.
Factor in the cost of replacing the battery system.

Not only that but the impact on the environment when they have to be replaced.
The old batteries just don't disappear.

Yep about 10 grand here to replace the battery pack. Now add up the recycling costs and pollution from that.
But on the bright side if the batteries catch fire you can use the heat to cook your tofu burgers.
