Last week, MSNBC’s morning show “Morning Joe” topped Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” in total viewers for the first time since 2001. The same claim holds true for MSNBC’s “dayside” (weekdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) programming vs. Fox News Channel’s, if one wants another snapshot at the first-time-in-19-years claim.
“Morning Joe” averaged 1.62 million total viewers from Nov. 9 to Nov. 13. “Fox & Friends” had an average of 1.38 million total viewers over the same Monday-Friday period.
All told, the “dayside” advantage was 120,000 total viewers in MSNBC’s advantage, according to Nielsen. MSNBC averaged 1.64 million total viewers to Fox News’ 1.52 million total viewers. Those numbers represent growth for MSNBC of +30% from the week prior to the election, while the Fox News Channel lineup slipped -33% from the final week of October 2020.

Odd how things change. I watched F&F, but got tired of the personalities being more important than the content. I switched to Morning Joe to see what the commies were saying, and I liked the panel format. Trump got elected, Joe stated his sole mission was to oppose Trump. I found Mornings with Maria on FBN.
I won’t watch either FNC or MSNBC now, not even on a bad bet.
FBN is starting to get the Murdoch creep. More libs to “debate”, and Cavuto, ugh.
I am starting to see Tucker as a company man too.

This isn’t just a typical post-election drop in interest. If it was the other networks would have comparable declines and they don’t.
I stopped watching Fox and Friends years ago. I couldn’t stand the rushed segments all the time. They crammed so much in and then would rush guests off the air.
I always felt sorry for the toy lady who would take all that crap to the studio at 4 am, just to have 30 seconds to describe it all.
Plus, too many technical glitches.
Never thought I’d say this...GOOD
And Fox ratings dropped more than MSNBC ratings increased. Morning Psycho won because of Foxit.
I’ve always loved Fox and Friends but watch very little TV anymore. They seemed to be one of Donald’s favorite to appear on. I find it hard to believe Morning Psycho is worth watching .
The Fox experiment is dead.

Exactly right. I really think a good portion of the Fox News audience is alienated and won’t be coming back for a while, if ever.
Fox has to do some fence-mending, but I for one won’t be back. Broken trust.
