No such thing as free lunch. Somebody is paying for it and it’s not the one eating it.
Milton Friedman’s original, “There’s no such thing as a Free Lunch” is of course spot on.
But the idea that there is something that has a price of Free is a truly evil concept. “Free” is theft. Someone else had “it”, and you now have “it” without having traded anything of value in return. “Free” is just organized, usually governmentally approved, theft. As such, the massive scale of “Free” overwhelms producers’ willingness to abide the theft, and they cease to produce.
