As I have said before, if this was a murder case with a Demoncrat perp we would have to present film footage of the murder, a signed confession by murderer, 10 witnesses to the murder, and affidavit from victim identifying the murderer. If on the other hand it was a Republican accused of murder all that would be required is an article in the WaPo or NYT by an anonymous source.
