I totally, totally agree. Grassley should have retired 2 decades ago.

He’s hanging around until his son, currently in the Iowa state government, can take over his senate seat. We only thought we got rid of the monarchy.

That was my immediate reaction too.
We really do need term limits. These guys would hang on until they’re 100 years old. Once they’re in there for a couple terms, it’s nearly impossible to dislodge them.
