I'd imagine he wouldn't - there's a lot more dirt on Biden than on Trump, and if Biden ever becomes president, he will not want his successor investigating him. He doesn't want to set a precedent that could come back to bite him.

Could the BIG reason why Biden reportedly doesn’t want Trump investigated after he leaves office be because Trump could use “discovery” to reveal all sort of things about Sleepy Joe, Hunter, and all the lying they have in their background? I seem to remember Mark Levin mentioning this on more than one occasion when Mark said he’d welcome Media Matters suing him (for whatever reason they might) - because Mark would unleash “discovery” on Media Matters and that they’d live to regret that.

Worst case scenario: Trump doesn’t get perp-walked until Harris becomes the prez.
Best case scenario: President Trump engages in mass firings and perp walkings of deep staters in 2021.
Biden can say anything he wants, but IF he is selected he won’t be calling the shots on anything. China will.
People don’t understand this? No president want s the presidence of an investigation into a president after they leave office. Remember Obama didn’t want Bush investigated. Trump wasn’t having Hillary or Obama investigated. Having your predecessor investigated is just opening the door for you yourself to be investigated in the future.

It will probably be some made up charges on his pre-presidency taxes or who knows, maybe they will create another scandal like they did multiple times before.
They will try to bankrupt him if not imprison him. of course they will never succeed but it will take someone with Trump's resources to fight them off. But it's not Trump they will be after. The Establishment will send a message to any other outsider who thinks they can crash their party. The last thing the Establishment wants is ordinary people in government who can't be controlled by the figureheads in the Democrat Party as well as the GOPe. They never want a Trump to happen again and their stenographers in the media and pop culture will see to it the successfully propagandize the American Public
