President-elect Joe Biden does not want investigations into President Trump after he leaves office to consume and further divide the nation, a new report alleges he privately told advisers.
Citing five people familiar with the discussions, NBC News reported Tuesday morning that the man slated to be the 46th commander-in-chief was wary of some Democrats’ desires to probe the outgoing president once he no longer has legal protections.
Biden reportedly raised concerns that such investigations would only deepen the political divisions in the country at a time when he has publicly argued he has a mandate to unite Americans across party lines.

They started off post election talking about making lists of Trump supporters, trying to stamp down support for the President and make us afraid to post online and comment about the steal.

If they were feeling powerful, they would be screaming 24/7 that Trump is fomenting a coup, won’t leave office, constitutional crises, blah blah blah. But they are not.
Joe doesn't want the extra pressure of pursuing Trump. He will have a hard enough time choosing between pop tarts or rye toast for breakfast every day.
Biden doesn’t have any say even if he seizes power.
Proving therefore that investigation of Trump would certainly CONTINUE until he is in jail **IF** Joe were to take office.

I'd imagine he wouldn't - there's a lot more dirt on Biden than on Trump, and if Biden ever becomes president, he will not want his successor investigating him. He doesn't want to set a precedent that could come back to bite him.

Could the BIG reason why Biden reportedly doesn’t want Trump investigated after he leaves office be because Trump could use “discovery” to reveal all sort of things about Sleepy Joe, Hunter, and all the lying they have in their background? I seem to remember Mark Levin mentioning this on more than one occasion when Mark said he’d welcome Media Matters suing him (for whatever reason they might) - because Mark would unleash “discovery” on Media Matters and that they’d live to regret that.

I think I can sense the first attempt at a quid pro quo. Biden won’t pursue Trump if Trump gets congress to lay of the Biden crime family. I think Bite Me is in far greater danger that President Trump could ever be.
Biden can say anything he wants, but IF he is selected he won’t be calling the shots on anything. China will.
People don’t understand this? No president want s the presidence of an investigation into a president after they leave office. Remember Obama didn’t want Bush investigated. Trump wasn’t having Hillary or Obama investigated. Having your predecessor investigated is just opening the door for you yourself to be investigated in the future.
