Full title: Emmanuel Macron accuses the Anglo-American press of legitimising terrorism in France by suggesting the country is racist and Islamophobic because of his stance on extremists
..The French President called The New York Times media correspondent Ben Smith to criticise the paper's English-language coverage of France's stance on Islamic extremism in the wake of recent attacks in the country.
...In his column about their exchange, Smith said the French president had argued 'foreign media failed to understand 'laicite,' or secularism, a pillar of French policy and society.
Domestic support for a firm line on the need for all citizens, including immigrants, to embrace French national values is stronger than ever after the grisly beheading last month of teacher Samuel Paty...Macron defended France's strict brand of secularism and its long tradition of satire.

And just as Macron’s eyes open up and he realizes how much Trump was right and needed...his new “ally” may be joe biden.
He will have many nights staring at the ceiling thinking how W. Europe will be on its own in the next big battle or war.
Hell, with biden in office, America may be on the other side.
After all, white western European are seen as evil while the muslims there are seen as oppressed by the left here.
Good grief.
Not enough head lopping in france to convince anyone yet
Good for him.
He has also doubled the number of anti-terrorism personnel mobilized in France
Hey,Monsieur Le President...your new best friends,Plugs and Heels Up,think that France is an evil place too.And they believe that France always *has been* evil. My advice to you:pray that our Supreme Court makes the right decisions in the next few weeks!
Emmanuel Macron accuses the Anglo-American press of legitimising terrorism in France by suggesting the country is racist and Islamophobic ...
You know the U.S. fake-news mainstream media has horrible problems (of its own making) when even France, of all countries, accuses the U.S. fake-news media of "legitimizing terrorism" by calling France "racist" and "Islamophobic."
Extreme far-left radical fake-news media.
Ben Smith? The former BuzzFeed lie-slinger who helped propogate the Russia dossier hoax? Of course he’s now with the NYTimes.
Well at least he isn’t blaming Trump.
I live in Belgium in the Wallonia region not to far from France, and I understand little of the French but say what you will about them being surrender monkeys and stuck up, but from what I sense they can be a bit protective of their liberal society and will not change it to suit the feelings of people, their own or foreigners.
Macron's best bet is to get on Le Telephoner and organize nations in support of Trump......
so that the USSC will have a global bedrock for making the right decision.
Almost like you’re a Republican.
...including immigrants, to embrace French national values...
Yeah, good luck with that. Muslims do not immigrate to take on the values of their host countries - they come to colonize and, ultimately, subjugate. Only politicians and the media are blind to that obvious fact.
THIS is why I add “ism” to Mohammad.
It’s “Mohammadism”.
All western nations should be protective of their own national identity, their culture, their own society and should stand in pride and mutual respect and defense of each other and of a common history that span thousands of years. If we don’t, who will?
I get ya,
Personally I think the kowtowing needs to end, it will not stop terrorists, and even snowflakism needs to stop, it is destructive to western society.
Wow, who put the nickel in HIM? He finally took his head out of his a*@ and realized what everyone ELSE has known for decades
If you are not ‘Islamophobic’ then you don’t know enough about Islam.
