Leftists and mainstream media hate Dr. Scott Atlas. They hate that he has the President’s ear and they hate that he’s not calling for everyone to cower in fear of a “pandemic” with a 99.996% recovery rate. That’s why it’s not surprising they clutched their pearls harder than they have in weeks when he posted a Tweet in response to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s newest lockdown announcement.

In-person learning for high schools and colleges are halted. Indoor dining, theaters, stadiums, organized sports (except pros) are no longer open.
He was calling on people to stand up and engage in good old fashioned non-compliance. Sprinkle in some peaceful protests and some much needed conservative votes and you can easily see what Dr. Atlas was saying when he called on people to “rise up.”
Of course, the left took it as a call for attacks against the Governor. As an alleged potential victim of an insane scheme by militia members to kidnap her, the left was particularly sensitive to mentioning her in the same sentence as “rise up.” They’ve been attacking him ever since, making his name trend on Twitter and prompting unhinged news articles claiming he’s starting an armed insurrection against the government of Michigan.
None of it’s true. As he noted in a subsequent Tweet, he sees state governments, including the leftist government of Whitmer, as the root cause of the lockdown mandates that have crippled not only the nation but most of the world. He invoked federalism, as he rightly should, to point people in the right direction to express their discontent with government. This is on the states, first and foremost.

We won’t post the attacks from social or mainstream media against Dr. Atlas. Frankly, they’re generally too ludicrous to deserve an ounce of attention. But since he was getting a flood of notifications calling him a militia leader, he did reply to the criticism.

The left did as it is wont to do by going after one of the few sane medical voices who have the President’s ear. But as Dr. Atlas noted, it’s time for the people to have their voices heard. These draconian lock-downs must end now.
Nobody is going to enjoy “outdoor dining” in Michigan in Nov/Dec.
Even here in CA the “outdoor dining” options are winding down due to cooler weather.
The Left can go pound sand. Those Rat thugs have expressed an infinite degree of violence.

The town I live in has 27,000+ full time residents and in the summertime the population can double, triple or more depending on what’s going on. Even this summer with pandemic restrictions barely lifted they had a good rise in tourist visits. Since the summer season oficially started on July 1st up until it ended September 1st we had more people drown than die of Covid. Now we are in the midst of another 2 week modified lockdown that has all of the restaurants and bars closed. Why? because of a rise of cases in a city 80km away.
Every major hotel in town has shut down with at least 2 stating that they will never reopen. My next door neighbor ran an adventure tours business for 20 years and it’s totally wiped out. He calls it soul destroying. The owner of our favorite Tapas bar said that if he got shut down again he probably won’t reopen. He’s shut down again. They are causing utter devastation. The pandemic could disappear tomorrow and it would take years for the economy to recover.
In the midst of this we advertised for a cleaner to come to our house a couple of times per week for 2 hours at a time, 10 Euros per hour. We expected a couple of answers. Instead we were doing interviews for days. The common theme was “I really need this job” and some of the women were literally begging for the work. It is so depressing to see what’s going on.
There is no need for violence if the Left does what WE want.
But if violence from the Right occurs, it will be in reaction to violence and it won’t be rioting and looting like the Left does. It will be more intelligent and targeted.

Why don’t you have some “peaceful protests” to get her attention? Large ones like the one in D.C. last weekend? We had trips planned to both New Mexico and Juneau this summer but cancelled them because of tyrannical edicts from governors. Think of all the tourism money that is lost to the citizens of your state and the economic weakening that has occurred because of your governor.
Is there anyone on our side who doesn’t believe we will eventually be forced to fight for our freedom?
