Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted that President Donald Trump will attempt to settle the presidential election in a way not seen since the 19th century.
In an interview with Newsmax, the longtime legal expert said Trump no longer is attempting to reach 270 Electoral College votes but will instead focus on denying Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s chances of getting 270 votes.
“Let’s look at the big picture: The big picture now has shifted,” Dershowitz told the website. “I do not believe that President Trump is now trying to get to 270 electoral votes. I think he thinks that’s out of the question.”
Trump has not signaled in public how he feels about his chances of securing 270 votes due to several legal challenges.
“What he’s trying to do is to deny Joe Biden 270 votes, by challenging in Pennsylvania, Georgia, in Nevada, in Michigan, in Arizona,” Dershowitz remarked, adding that not allowing Biden to reach 270 out of 538 votes would eventually force House state delegations to vote, where Republicans have an advantage over Democrats. Currently, the GOP has a 26-23-1 state delegation majority in the House of Representatives.
“If he can keep the Biden count below 270, then the matter goes to the House of Representatives, where of course there is a Republican majority among the delegations of states, and you vote by state if it goes to the House,” Dershowitz said. “He’s trying to follow the playbook of three elections of the 19th century.”
Dershowitz noted that a number of things would have to align perfectly for Trump to win under that circumstance.
“You need a perfect storm for it to work,” he explained. “You need to get enough states, enough state attorneys general, or state departments, or whoever, secretaries of state or governors that are Republican that legitimately refuse to certify the results because they’re under challenge on the day the Electoral College meets by statute.”
“If on that day, Biden doesn’t have 270 votes—you don’t get to vote two or three times on that; as far as the Constitution’s concerned, it’s one vote—and if the one vote doesn’t give the leading candidate 270 electoral votes, then automatically it goes to the House of Representatives, where a whole new process takes over, and a process that clearly favors President Trump,” added the former law professor.
Trump’s campaign or legal team has not publicly stated whether this strategy is in play. Currently, his lawyers have a number of lawsuits filed in several battleground states, including at least one that is slated to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.

If there is a one-shot legal recourse to the numerous and widespread examples of fraud that have been discovered, this is it. The question is, will the SCOTUS have the stones to do it?
Either route to a W is perfectly fine.
The Rats know so no big deal in Dershowitz saying this Constitutional route may get revisited.

This is partly why the Dems’ propaganda Public Relations arm (aka news media on TV) has shown Sleepy Joe in front of a sign “Office of the President Elect of the United States”, American flags behind him (as for the idiot Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan to glorify her immense stature as a stateswoman-—Spit).
And the constant BS about “won the election” “won the electoral votes” and the foreigners congratulating their new weakling patsy Biden. All propaganda.
Then dimwitted American public will say “Hey, Trump must be stealing the election—Biden won-—I seen it on TV. I seen their vote totals. Jake Tapper and Mika even said it.”
This is not going to happen. You are talking about a lot of weak GOPers who would have to come on board. I am still waiting for Trump to prove his case in court. And so far all I have seen is a bunch of losses in the courts.
Any moves allowed by the Constitution is fitting to reverse this attempted theft.
It has been discussed here for the past several days as well. It typically has been shouted down by those that say the only way it goes to the house with just two candidates... is if there is a tie in the electoral college. If one of the two gets a majority of electors present then they win. If there are less than 538 electors the number necessary for a majority goes down.
12th Amendment,
“The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.”
Levin was talking about it the day after the election.
So, If I’m reading the 12th amendment correctly, the Dems could boycott and deny a quorum, which would make Pence the VP. ??
What we really need is an arrest.
Any owner of Dominion voting systems, Scytyl, or anyone else involved in the switching of votes. Then names start being leaked rats will rat on each other.
There have been 538 electors since after 1964 when the D of C was given 3 EC votes via the 23rd Amendment.
There can't be less than 538 electors by law.

Seems fair that Trump challenges only the states where an unnecessary simultaneous halt in counting, followed by an unprecedented immediate infusion of votes in opposition to the running count. Why only those “swing†states all experienced problems AT THE SAME MOMENT is a question that requires investigation.
