There is nothing wrong with being gay. No one should be discriminated against because of who they are. In the biblical times they didn’t understand that homosexuals were developed that way, due to hormones and culture. No I’m not gay but have known gays that are not harmful to straight people as portayed in the Bible

There is everything wrong with being gay.

As with all unrepentant sin it cuts you off from life forever but in the here and now it also carries an additional danger that may make repentance more difficult than with other sins. Here I’m referring to the way people wrap up their sense of identity with their deviant sexuality. Relatively rare is the thief or liar who thinks of themselves in terms of their specific sin as if it were a vital part of their identity, who they really really are, but when it comes to homosexuality that has apparently become fairly commonplace.

A thief will not on average think a Christian suggesting the need repentance means them giving up a vital part of their very identity ... homosexuals OTOH arguably may.

God calls it an abomination. Accept it or reject it. Your call. I figure if God calls it an abomination, that indicates, we are able to overcome abominations.
I have also known some homosexuals, that I thought were super nice people. That, however, is not the issue here.
