Merriam-Webster treats the phrases couldn't care less and could care less as synonymous, both meaning "not concerned or interested at all."

So we are saying the same thing. 8>)

Is It 'Could' or 'Couldn't Care Less'?

Now is it careless or care less:
careless - indifferent, unconcerned
Care - to feel interest or concern

Again the same thing. 8>)

Yes, I guess it’s time to surrender to the pop culture idiocy that reasons that “could” and “could not” mean the same thing.
