Miami rapper Lil Pump, who endorsed President Trump a day before the 2020 election, never actually voted in the contest, a report said Friday.

The rhymster, real name Gazzy Garcia, has never been registered to vote in his home state of Florida, a crucial swing state that went for Trump in 2020, the Smoking Gun reported.

The news outlet cited Sunshine State voter rolls and a supervisor with the Miami-Dade County Elections Department to show the 20-year-old musician has never been registered to cast a ballot in Florida.

Most of these celebrities, whoever they endorse, don't actually vote.

The endorsement was meaningful either way. I liked what he said.

So what? Should we blame him for the massive election fraud? Maybe we should check and see if he cast a ballot in Philly without even knowing it.

I wander how much impact the endorsement of any celebrities has. Do people really vote a certain way because a celebrity told them?

I agree. His endorsement was incredibly powerful, all those rappers the last weeks. It’s too bad that he didn’t vote but he was more effective than a single vote.

People spend thousands of dollars on products because a celebrity told them. Of course they vote the way celebrities tell them — most people who do so probably consider their vote less important than what brand of shampoo they use on their hair, or what shoes they wear.

Product endorsement works because of repeated impressions made to the viewer over a period of time.

Day before election endorsements are pretty useless. Those who are going to vote have made up their mind.
