If true (meaning it stands up to the recount challenges), then Biden winning Arizona is, indeed, bad news.

I want PDJT to win this election, we gave a small contribution to his campaign, and I voted for him.

But I live in Virginia. When I moved here, over 30 years ago, Virginia was a purple state. That changed. While the state is mostly conservative Red at the county level, the big suburban and urban population centers are solid Blue and their votes dominate.

So the majority of Virginia voted for Biden. Fact of life.

This will be my last Christmas in Virginia. Retired in late 2018. Plan on moving to central Florida in the spring. Sunshine. Hurricanes. No state tax. Pro 2A. Heck, might even be able to shoot the rioting SOBs...er, mostly peaceful demonstrators... or run over them if that new bill proposed by the governor passes.

A good planner always has to consider the possibility of the main plan failing. Assuming solely for the purposes of this thought experiment that the coming state level decisions are not quite enough and the president does not prevail, what is out situation?

Tough runoff fight coming up in Georgia for the US Senate, going to have to go all out to win those races for Red. Let’s be really negative and say we don’t and control of the Senate passes to Blue.

President Joe Biden (I can hardly type it), is going to be in largely the same situation as President Obama was in 2009. Red’s mission will also be largely the same, a prevent defense until the situation can be turned around..

Consider this: Red picked up 10 seats in the House this election. Biden/Harris had no coattails! Factions of the Blue party are at war with themselves. Biden is already hedging on the more radical elements of the party platform. BLM is demanding a payoff for all its “help.” So all that
drama running up to the election was “help” and a bill to be paid by the American people is now due. That will make for interesting legislative action and debate.

Under the present rules, Blue cannot override a filibuster in the Senate should Red decide to wage its own “Resist” campaign. (Frankly, I doubt it would happen. Most have had spine-ectomies.) Yes, Blue could change the filibuster rule with a procedural rules change at the start of the session, but there are risks to doing that. Blue has found that out on judge nominations.

Blue, with its slim majorities, will finally pass a $2+ trillion economic relief package; a package that they deliberately delayed for election purposes. But it is not going to help if Blue also shuts down the country for 4-6 weeks in February-March 2022 for disease control purposes; possibly choking off the finally strengthening economic recovery.

The COVID-19 vaccine effort has been badmouthed by Blue as crippled by PDJTs incompetent leadership. Are they going to delay its dissemination? Or are they going to suddenly announce that everything is just fine? Are they actually going to send millions of doses of it overseas, as one “sharing is caring” Biden advisor has virtue-signaled in the press? Etc., etc.

All that is not going to go over really well with the public not matter how much sugar-coating Blues MSM enablers apply.

Remember there is a Congressional Biennial Election in 2022. All of the House and 1/3rd of the Senate will be up for election. Blue will not have Orange Man Bad to marshal the extremely thin and stressed coalition that is supporting its claim to the national political mandate. Red is going to be there to point out every lie, screw-up, sweet-heart deal, etc.

Then there is whatever is going to become of the Hunter Biden case. Once Biden is sworn-in, the rules change. And Red will be watching intently. No more ‘Sonofabitch’ moves like VP Biden made in Ukraine. Proceed or quash, there is still a story there to tell.

And who do you think is going to be out on point, with even more time to post pithy, sardonic texts on social media and make other pronouncements pointing out all the deficiencies in Blue’s plans and actions? The first press release in PDJT’s 2024 Presidential Campaign (should he decide to run) will probably be made during the helicopter ride out to Andrews AFB.

We should also keep in mind that the Trump/McConnell team (and I use that word advisedly) has seated a lot of lower level judges in the federal court system and the five center to conservative justices on the Supreme Court are healthy enough to hold the line (maybe - on a case by case basis) against the more outrageous legislative and executive branch abuses of Blue until the next general election. There will be plenty of lawsuits to delay and obstruct implementation of a Biden administration agenda.

Press reporting says Associate Justice Thomas wants to retire. But he may pull a modified-RBG (modified in that he won’t stay until he dies in place) and wait until PDJT can get reelected. Again, if PDJT decides to run.

So, winning for Biden isn’t going to be a cakewalk. And if they pull the expected switcheroo and relieve/retire him after a few months, they are going to have to explain that as well. Nice cloud for Kamala to start her Presidency under.

More grist for the mill.

Keep in mind this is just a thought experiment. I want, I pray none of it comes to pass. Because Biden/Harris would do a lot of damage to the country and, frankly, the world.
