I tried MeWe a while ago and it was horrible. Maybe it’s improved a little. I’ve been on Parler for a while but it seemed rather dead for months and months.

Stick with Parler. Im on it several times a day now. Lot of friends there.
How do you read what people are posting on Parler without an account? Obviously, the link works for Maria (& I’ve saved it), but if I want to see Dan Bongino, Mark Levin or someone else, how do you do that without an account?
It’s our turn to cancel them..
I’ve been on MeWe for about a week and, as far as ease of use, I don’t see much difference from Facebook. I sure don’t miss the constant ads, “fact checks”, and being given the cold shoulder by my lost liberal family there. I am one of those making the break tomorrow. I let a few people know where to find me, but good riddance to the rest.

Both platforms will take some time to develop as people you know move. I’ve got about a dozen FB friends so far who have agreed to dump FB and come over to MeWe/Parler. Some will go tomorrow just to do it. Others already have.
But the mainstreams are hammering both sites and some of the sheeple believe what the msm tells them.
Wish I could. Off Facebook means off Facebook messenger, off Instagram and off WhatsApp (Facebook is combining accounts)
No other widely-used decent messaging and VOIP software out there. (Discord is for gamers, Skype is for professional use). You also can’t sms mobile numbers from either for free.
