Coronavirus hospitalizations are surging in lockdown-eschewing Sweden as the country grapples with a second wave of the virus, data shows.
There are currently 1,004 patients being treated for the virus in the Nordic nations hospitals up 60 percent from the previous weeks 627, the Guardian reported.
We consider the situation extremely serious, Björn Eriksson, the director of healthcare for the Stockholm region, told state media.
Eriksson added, we can expect noticeably more people needing hospital care over the coming weeks.

And they are surging here in lockdown central.
So whats the difference?
Good news, the Latvian bobsled team is safe.
Nobody talks about death rates anymore, because they are infinitesimal.
Did not know. They won gold in 2014 with 4man and bronze with 2man. Only ever gold in winter sports for them.
Note on this map that the number of deaths in Europe, where they are supposedly so much better at handling this that we are, is roughly equivalent to the US.
That map needs to be at least in deaths/100,000 or whatever the Metric equivalent unit of measure is.
Where are The Experts Science’splain’ whatts up?
They lie about COVID death counts, just like they lie about vote counts
What are the case dates in US?
Too often they are tabulating results NOW that happened in August and September (the spike was MONTHS ago, not now)
One person can vote multiple times so it only makes sense he can catch COVID and be counted multiple times.
Sure, when people are tested a couple times a week and the same person keeps coming back positive.
Oh, look. New cases.
We need to lock down more.
They are preparing for Bidens nationwide lockdown and mask mandate, which will miraculously get rid of Covid after 4-6 weeks of everyone being oppressed.
So there are about 400 more people in the hospital. Even if they all would not be there but for the virus (highly questionsble),that’s hardly a major crisis.
So none of the 627 from the week earlier went home?
New Jersey has 1800. New York has almost 2000. So Sweden is doing better than those two states.
Cases are also “soaring” where there were strict lockdowns. Sweden’s cases will show a plateau that gradually slopes off. Those countries with lockdowns will show peaks and valleys with no significant reduction of cases (not deaths)in sight as new hosts keep being available.
Here is the data, directly from Sweden:

First graph is daily infections, the second is new intensive care patients per day, the last is deaths per day.
New cases appear to have peaked at a rate twice that of their peak in April. New intensive care patients are a bit less than half of their peak in April, even though infection rates have doubled. New deaths are about fifteen percent of those back in April.
