Volunteers on the Pfizer vaccine trial have compared the jab's side effects to a 'severe hangover' and said it left them with headaches, fever and muscle aches similar to the flu vaccine.
One 45-year-old volunteer said the first dose left her suffering side effects similar to the flu jab but that her symptoms were 'more severe' after her second jab.
Another volunteer, 44-year-old Glenn Deshields, said Pfizer's vaccine made him feel like he had a 'severe hangover' but that symptoms quickly cleared up.
Carrie, a publicist from Missouri who asked for her last name not to be used, said she received her first shot back in September and her second last month.
She said she suffered a headache, fever and aches all over her body, comparable to the flu jab, with the first one.
But after the second these became 'more severe'.
The publicist said she signed up because she felt it was her 'civic duty' and that yesterday's announcement of the success made her feel 'very proud'.

Had that kind of reaction to both Shingrix shots.
So like the flu?
Yeah, but you don’t get corona and risk getting headaches, fever and muscle aches.
Take a pill.
sounds a lot better than death to me.
I know a gal 24 yrs.old, traveled south and picked up covid at an athletic competition she participated in in October....she still does not have her taste and smell back. Passed it on to her live-in boyfriend as well.
That’s it? So like getting a quad valiant high dose flu vaccine. Ask any serviceman who had to get the anthrax series what side effects feel like. The anthrax series put myself and a dozen other men in sick call for a week with 104+ fevers , paralysis on the limb and lasting numbness for weeks later. The second and third shots for anthrax were better than the first.
And why the two vaccines?
“sounds a lot better than death to me”
Covid equals certain death? Like to 0.00002%?
At least the boyfriend didn’t dump her for tasting and smelling funny. ;)
My daughter works with a young 20-something kid that got Covid. A month later he still gets winded walking the 20 feet from the computer to the service counter.
And then I know a guy in his 90’s that had it but no symptoms!
It is really weird how it affects people differently.
Inject Fauci with the stuff and see what happens.
Fauci said he is taking the Pfizer version of the FDA approves it and giving it to his family as well. Made that public today in a peraser when asked.
Lots of vaccinations take multiple doses to trigger full immunity. The MMR takes at least 3, so does hepatitis A,B, and C vax. Anthrax takes 3 spaced over 6 months. Yellow fever and dengue fever are both triple inoculations
Yeah, that first anthrax shot was the worst. We had some guys get pretty sick, and one was medevaced for a severe reaction.
One of my squad members Mitchell had his whole left side go stuff like a stroke we had to help him get out of bed and make head calls for nearly a week. He refused the second shot and they BCD him for it right out of the Corps. Not taking the vaccines was not an option.
I’ll gladly let someone else have my shots. IMO, forcing people to endure a risky vaccine for a virus with a survival rate of 99.7% is beyond ridiculous.
Three weeks ago, I cracked a rib and bruised a couple more. At the conclusion of my doctor’s visit, he suggested that I get a flu shot. I wasn’t planning on getting one because I haven’t had the flu in at least fifteen years and my immune system is incredibly powerful.
But, in the end, I agreed to the shot. Due to my pain from my injury, I wasn’t exactly up to objecting and my doctor was, and still is, incredibly generous with pain meds, so I hated to argue.
That was my first ever flu shot ( and my last). I am NOT getting a WuFlu vaccine. The vaccine should be saved for the old and the frail and should be strictly voluntary.
We had 2 sailors on the ship out of about 400 that refused and were kicked out. One was a Junior Officer. Hell of a way to toss your career in the trash, but they had people back home telling them it would kill them.
