President Donald Trump is within 1 percent of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Arizona, according to the latest unofficial results.
An automatic recount will take place if the final margin is one-tenth of 1 percent, according to state law.
Trump has received 1.63 million votes to Bidens 1.64 million, as of late Monday. Thats a margin of 0.45 percent.
Bidens lead has slowly decreased as new bundles of ballots are added to the count.
Fox News called the race in Bidens favor on election night, followed by The Associated Press, even though hundreds of thousands of votes remained outstanding.
Trumps campaign predicted the president would ultimately win the state, as he did in 2016.
Were right on track. This will be very, very close, but we remain confident @realDonaldTrump will end up on top in Arizona, Jason Miller, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, said on social media last week.
Arizona delivers the winner 11 electoral votes.

Please explain to me why this state hasn’t finished counting?
One would expect as the POTUS race tightens so will the Senate race... any updates?
Must be hand-counting absentee ballets.
Last night Steve Cortez practically PROMISED this would be FLIPPED! geesh! Call me CHARLIE BROWN......argh.
If he gets AZ then he only needs PA and GA.
Gee I wonder if the Biden team will want a recount.
Are they counting right now? Or did they all stop and go to In n Out for a double double?
I mean, the same would be true if he got NV instead of Az
Get ready for another mysterious 4AM ballot dump.
He should get G.A.
Good question.
Restore Arizona’s honor, O Lord!!!!
Arizona was very late in 2016, too!
Likely as many CA voters in AZ as were in NV.
So Trump is down 10,000 with 60,000 more ballots to count?
if republican found even 1% of the ballots that democrats find, they’d be history
Trump is down by 14,476 votes, according to the article. So he needs about 60% of those 61,500. That number has not changed in several days. It looks like The Donald will get close enough for a recount.
This guy is really popular lately.
