The flawed, fractured and possibly inaccurate spectacle of ballot-counting to which Americans have been treated as Pennsylvania became the focus of the 2020 election deserves all the challenges President Donald Trump is throwing at it, according to a group of Republican attorneys general.
Democrat Joe Biden has been declared the winner in Pennsylvania, but the Trump campaign is raising serious questions about how the votes were counted. Rudy Giuliani, Trumps lawyer, on Sunday said the number of challenged ballots is so high that it could flip the results.
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito last week ordered state officials to keep separate ballots received at Pennsylvania elections offices after the polls closed.
With that as the backdrop, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in the Trump campaigns effort to ensure that mail-in ballots that arrived after Election Day are not counted.
Schmitt was joined by the Republican attorneys general from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota and Texas.
Trumps campaign is suing to overturn a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to count, as long as they arrived by Friday.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Courts decision overstepped its constitutional authority and encroached on the authority granted to the Pennsylvania legislature, the filing argued.

Biden votes from the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh should be removed from the Pennsylvania totals and that would provide a clear representation of the actual leanings of the voters of Pennsylvania.
If he were any kind of person/Patriot, he would say, “let’s step back and make sure all votes were cast and counted legally.”
So you think that Pompeo “knows”?
My goodness I hope that is the case.....
Very well written
Correct. I am convinced something has moved us past all of that. I suspect we have smoking gun evidence of the Mass Voter Fraud and have made the ComDem’s a offer they cannot refuse.
Suspect Supreme Court has agreed to hear this argument.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court; supported by AG’s of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota and Texas.
Yikes! My bad.. Giuliani mentioned 630,000 ballots SHOULD be nullified because the DemonRat vote counters would not allow Republicans to observe them (in violation of the law).
Likely True.
I’m sure they have the electronic data fully collected.
We all know the rats are going to shred any evidence of their shenanigans. Nothing less than a full blown recount of suspect states with genuine ballot validation can set this election straight. Do whatever it takes, even if you have to vet every single voter. I say we do it, our republic is worth every penny it would cost.
Exactly and that is the hammer they will be beaten with.
I hope the revenge for this ComDem Mass Election Fraud is truly sweet.
We shall see.
Biden is an idiot, a very dull tool.
Pompeo said all legal votes will be counted and those not legal discarded.
Trump and supporters concede ground they don’t need to concede when they talk so much about “voter fraud,” thus letting the media frame the issue. There probably was fraud there, too, but it doesn’t matter. If the Supreme Court rules as it’s signaled it’s going to rule in the PA case, a ballot is constitutionally invalid, even if there wasn’t any fraud in its completion and submission at all.
The real question here is what remedy is going to be available if the PA SOS certifies a constitutionally-deficient slate of electors and whether the Supremes are going to require the legislature to step up and defend its prerogatives before ruling. Then the question becomes what other states had situations where bureaucrats or judges directly modified the express voting statutes on the books, including all the settlements and consent decrees in the Dems voting rights suits last spring and summer. Properly understood, an election board bureaucrat in Georgia has no authority to settle a Dem lawsuit under terms that conflict with the election statutes of the legislature.
(Clearing up last post: A PA ballot is consitutionally invalid if it was received after 8 pm on Election Night, even if there’s no fraud involved at all.)
Look at the link on my post #8.
Look at the expression and confidence on Pompeo’s face.
He knows something.
I also saw a Twitter post with Trump winning 4 of the contested States. (that is not proof, but a sign that others might know)
Also the Stock market is surging.
Something is happening.
When Rudy Giuliani went after the Mob, surely he learned a thing or two about machine politics and voter fraud. Many of the mobsters he prosecuted were involved in election rigging. I’m sure Pelousi the mafia princess knows about that. Her father was mobbed up when he was mayor of Baltimore, which started going down the toilet during his tenure.
I think they are going to be forced to play this out, or have their states invalidated totally.
I can’t see the Supremes stepping in and defending every single state legislature here and throwing out every ballot that didn’t conform with state election laws — but certainly Trump should be asking them to do exactly that.
Trump really needs a talented lawyer up front explaining these things to the public and the media, rather than Rudy blabbering constantly about fraud. Rudy has his place, but lead legal spokesman is not that place.
What if they didn't? By all accounts, most of the 4 am ballots were ripped open and tabulated post haste without any Republican poll watchers present. Once tabulated, there is no way to cull them out of the system again.
Pennsylvania could show up with 7 ballots in their hands and say "there you go, Justice Alito, that's all 7 late ballots," and no one would be the wiser.
