Did Milwaukee Election Officials Break the Law when Processes Absentee Ballots?

Since Election Day, many questions have been raised about the handling of ballot counting by some swing state election officials. Are these legal votes? Why is it taking so long to count ballots? Are officials following their state’s laws and regulations when counting votes?

So many questions remain unanswered, but fortunately, we are slowly getting peeks behind the ballot counting curtain. Unfortunately, what we are seeing is not giving Americans more confidence that the 2020 election is on the up and up.

The PT News Network has previously reported on some of the views we’ve been given into the “swing state ballot counting unknown”, such as in Philadelphia’s handling (or not) of poll-watchers and concerns about absentee ballot counting in Detroit. New concerns about absentee ballot counting in Wisconsin has recently gained social media attention.

Wisconsin law requires all absentee ballots to be delivered to the counting center by 9:00 PM EST (see WI Statute, Chapter 7.52 (1)(a)). CBS even has a news story on its website from before election day outlining the requirement. However, that law does not seem to have been followed in Milwaukee, the Democratic stronghold of Wisconsin.

Reporters from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel posted videos of absentee ballots being delivered to the counting facility a little after 2:00 AM on November 4th, the morning after election day. The video shows Milwaukee’s Election Commission Executive Director Claire Woodall-Vogg being escorted by police from the central count committee to the County Courthouse, where vote tabulation was taking place.

So why was this happening at 2:00 AM on November 4th instead of before 9:00 PM on November 3rd? It is a good question, with no answer at present. What we do know is that this batch of ballots pushed candidate Biden to overtake President Trump in Wisconsin while most of America was sleeping. The tabletop-like leap in candidate Biden’s vote count in the wee hours of the morning on November 4th is clearly shown in the chart below from FiveThirtyEight.

After this jump in votes for Biden from Milwaukee’s (late?) absentee ballots, the vote count continued to come in steadily for both candidates, as shown in the cart below. This anomaly may be just that, a weird outcome of the way Milwaukee counting their votes. However, any commonsense individual can’t help but look at the fact pattern and wonder, “What is going on in Wisconsin?” and perhaps more importantly, “Is it legal?”.

It was even possible for them Dims to mine past voting and find alive registered voters who ALWAYS never voted for a long many years, and from which they assumed, correctly in 99.99% of the cases, that they could get away with doing an “absentee” ballot for as many of them as they needed. That would also be one way that resulted in the anomaly of some districts reaching voting that achieved 90%+ of registered voters.

In one of these cities, some precincts were over 200% of registered voters.
