On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) vowed that he will not vote for packing the courts or ending the filibuster if Democrats take the majority in the Senate. Manchin also expressed opposition to defunding the police, Medicare for all, and the Green New Deal.

Unless, of course, someone puts the slightest bit of pressure in him. Then Joe will fold like every other “moderate” Democrat.
The court packing stuff was always GOTV red meat for both sides. Why would the Dems need to do that with Roberts as CJ? The last big case, on Trannies, they won 6-3 with Gorsuch in the majority and Kavanaugh writing a glowing pro homo “dissent”. So the real vote was 7-2 basically.
Dems will sound a moderate tone with GA Senate runoffs on the menu.

It was always obvious that Manchin would never go along with these ridiculous schemes. Having said that, if Biden gets in I certainly hope the five strict constructionist justices have airtight security around them.
He is providing cover for the Democrats.
It is hard to accept that a state that Trump wins by 40 points also voted for this sleazy politican.
