Republican-Led Michigan Legislature to Hold Hearings on Election Fraud Claims

The Republican-led Michigan legislature will hold hearings Saturday to consider fraud claims regarding the presidential election.

“Every single legal vote needs to be counted, regardless of who cast it or who they voted for,” said Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield (R-Levering), according to the Daily Journal.

“And then the candidate who wins the most of those votes will win Michigan’s electoral votes, just like it always has been. Nothing about that process will change in 2020,” he continued.

Multiple allegations of election fraud, typos, and glitches were made after the election on Tuesday.

“Questions followed after a software glitch initially gave roughly 5,000 votes cast for President Donald Trump to former Vice President Joe Biden in Antrim County, sparking a manual recount,” the newspaper said.

If the Michigan State Legislature says there is fraud or the vote is suspect, the Democrats and MSM can not do anything about. When dams crack and leak, everyone knows they eventually break.

But if the House did not hold the Presidential vote the Senate votes for VP who becomes the President.

Thanks for posting this. It’s the best encapsulation of events and the potential outcomes thereof that I’ve seen yet; i.e., everything in one place and briefly stated.

Good work.

I think it was mentioned on a previous thread that the House is who votes on the President. It’s not individual voting; each state has 1 rep. My understanding was that of those 50 reps/delegates/whatever they’re called, Republicans have a simple majority (either 26/24, or 27/23).

I emailed several of these fellows and the best I got back were assurances that they were "looking into it" with an eye toward making sure this doesn't happen "next time."

I wrote back and let them know that next time is 2022 and millions of Republican voters will be too disheartened to even bother voting if they don't fix this mess NOW. If they don't, they deserve to be utterly routed in 2022. Like FOX, they take us for granted, and I for one am feeling positively vengeful at the Joker: Watch It Burn level.

Yes. It reflects the EC.

Trump would win.

What I’m saying is Speaker could refrain from calling the vote. No vote takes place in the House.

I am analyzing possibilities based on 12th Amendment.

No, that is not the only two ways the court can rule. No court is going to rule that the entire election is invalid. That’s just nutty.

Oh, okay, I see now what you were getting at. Thanks for the clarification.

It’s an interesting scenario, and one that I hadn’t contemplated.

I didn’t know that Kavenaugh and ACB were part of the Florida decision in 2000. People have been saying that PDJT has done nothing to prepare for this situation (which he already tweeted back in June that it was going to happen). But now I am wondering if he has actually been preparing for 2 years.
