CHICAGO — Gov. J.B. Pritzker celebrated Joe Biden's presidential victory by parading down a crowded Boystown sidewalk Saturday as coronavirus cases spiked to record levels in Illinois.
On Twitter, you can see unmasked men enjoying margaritas inside a Mexican restaurant — in defiance of Pritzker's statewide ban on indoor dining — cheer as the governor posed for non-socially distance selfies with strangers.

He also claims IL is running out of beds in the hospital for covid. Can anybody shed a light on that if it is true or not?

I don’t know, but IL new cases are through the roof and new fatalites are rising fast. That said, the number of daily fatalities are still under half what they were in May. Possibly, many beds are occupied by people who had procedures delayed earlier this year? Maybe someone has some firm numbers on the beds.
