Ok, we just hit the beach on Normandy ...
“then the official tally should be the last tally that was reported prior to 8:00 pm on Election Day. And Trump was winning overwhelmingly at that point. THE END.”
Amen!
SCOTUS rule is that states must follow what the state legislatures have set out.
Not courts.
Not election officials.
All those illegal ballots are tossed. Trump wins PA.
GA we will get with military.
Closing on AZ.
MI and WI were stolen. So will see how that plays out.
Alito and Thomas are worthy of being held in high regard.
...as in nullify, LOL!
I meant to say GOP controlled PA Legislature, of course.
If not segregated, throw out the whole precinct. Can’t be certified.
If they don’t like it, take it up with local the election officials who caused their votes to be disqualified.
I have a very simple question. How are votes supposedly mailed on or before November 3 just arriving to be counted? We’re constantly hearing that a new batch has somehow just been found. It doesn’t take that long for mail to be delivered in Pennsylvania even if it’s coming from the other side of the state.
The only explanation is that the ballots were mailed well AFTER the election and back dated. I can’t believe the slowness of the counting. The crooked Sec. of State in Pennsylvania made a strange statement, “the closer the election is, the longer it takes to count.” Huh? Why is that? Because it takes time to mark phony ballots and to keep track of how many you need to surpass Republican votes?
Election day is not July 57th in the year of whatever pleases.
The Supreme Court is preparing all states, now, in that, the states must know when ballots cross the election day threshold, and the states must record that on each ballot.
That includes: If a ballot has an unknown threshold date, then it has no date and is not valid.
IOW, the Supreme Court is telling everybody, there is an end date and time.
Incredible.
PA went to a new paper ballot system this year with a paper audit trail:
Anything not postmarked by close of the polls on 11/3 should be tossed.
That’s probably the real issue in NV too. They separate the mailing envelope from the ballot envelope. Can’t go back and re-check the signatures or the time stamp.
No idea what the proper remedy could be.
Why these places are not under constant supervision and video monitoring is beyond me. In the UK, and even NYC, they have video monitors everywhere. Mostly to catch crimes in progress. But for elections, every van that delivers ballots, every room that stores ballots, every desk that counts ballots should be under 24/7 video surveillance - and live streamed on the internet.
Yeah really. Oh they are all piled up together in no particular order. What a f’ing clown show.
“good luck identifying them?”
Exactly, the only remedy for this is a revote in the contested states, in person voting only ... period.
You know, it’s enough to make someone throw their hands up. WTF? Separate but count??
The 8:00 count.
Thank you for this EXCELLENT post!
Bumping it!
If you can prove that the margin of victory came from ballots received after 8pm and election officials did not segregate them, would that not be cause for a “run-off” election?
I don’t understand the legalities and know that every state is different, but a special election with oversight would be necessary to remedy these problems caused by 1) lack of oversight and transparency and 2) inability to determine which ballots were valid or not valid.
I was listening to someone on a podcast who said that the Pennsylvania legislature or a court can order a new vote if the problems are deemed beyond correction. I don’t know if that is or is not the case.
