This is the message I got when I tried to click on your Defense Fund webpage.
The website tried to negotiate an inadequate level of security.
secure.winred.com uses security technology that is outdated and vulnerable to attack. An attacker could easily reveal information which you thought to be safe. The website administrator will need to fix the server first before you can visit the site.
Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY
Somehow I cannot say that I am surprised. I have only used a credit card there that you load the cash you intend to spend just before using it: and even at that they were repeatedly declining the card. I worked maybe three times with their IT folks and finally decided it was hopeless. I discovered the problem was self clearing after a day or two.
GOP candidates have to rely on this site for fund raising.
If the GOP lets this election fraud slide it is time to try to forge a new patriotic political reality - a new political party. I have been posting that the modern Republican Party has actually regressed into the Whig Party that they replaced... replaced because the Whigs had become indecisive and incapable of action.
The Republicans nominated Abraham Lincoln and the rest is history. We need a dynamic political leader to start off: Donald Trump first, then a strong patriot like Gen. Michael Flynn. Others like Mark Levin would help form a strong base.
Republican state legislatures and legislators hold the power in this country right now but you wouldn't know it. They are in full retreat leaving Prez Trump with little support - and consequently leaving you and I with little representation. Fie!
I might add that your browser or your anti-virus might be scamming you to get you to abandon the GOP. I could especially believe it if you are using Google Chrome. Silicon Valley is now pulling out all the stops to convert this country into an oligarchic hellhole. I use Firefox and McAfee anti-virus and have never received a security wave-off from Winred.
Hmmm.... a faint bell is ringing in the dark recesses of my brain pan. I was going to post what Geo.Washington said about the evils of political parties. Then I forgot. Now I”ll have to do it tomorrow, too late now ‘cause I have other stuff to do. Time has shown that everything Washington said was exactly correct, to a “t”.

AND, there is a sneaky little toggle that says ‘make this weekly’ -
you have to jump through hoops to cancel that out...
Curious; on my desktop it is just a mouse click to cancel that and another click to cancel doubling the amount. I forgot to check out on that monthly box early on but they sent me a warning email with the option to cancel just before the next scheduled 'give'... but I never forgot after that.
I have donated a lot (small amounts) on WinRed and I use a card that I have to regularly deposit money to cover any charges; a monthly donation would only result in the card being overcharged, i.e. canceled. Being a regular contributor to many campaigns, I am getting between 60 and 100 solicitations a day from various; tedious to sort them out of other mail and delete them! I have to be brutal or I would go broke. Every 'ask' is naturally a desperate last chance.
I have started responding once or twice saying that if money is what is required to win an election and issues carry no weight then the Republic is in jeopardy any way. I am a big proponent of donating to candidates because if we rank and file do not then they go to the big money PACs or whatever and we lose our voice -- but the demand is overwhelming; whatever happened to winning on the issues? Trump managed it and survived on small donors like myself.
