BERLIN (AP) — The head of an international delegation monitoring the U.S. election says his team has no evidence to support President Donald Trump’s claims about alleged fraud involving mail-in absentee ballots.
Michael Georg Link, a German lawmaker who heads an observer mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, told German public broadcaster rbb Thursday that “on the election day itself, we couldn’t see any violations” at the U.S. polling places they visited.
Link said he was “very surprised” by Trump’s claims about postal ballot fraud because the United States has a long history of this method of voting going back to the 19th century.
“We looked into this. We found no violations of the rules whatsoever,” Link told rbb.
He said neither U.S. election observers nor media found any evidence of fraud either, though the OSCE team on Wednesday repeated long-standing concerns about disenfranchisement of some voters and the distorting effects of campaign finance

Were these Germans monitoring the tallying sites at 3 AM checking for big pallets of ballots coming out of vans?
Have they been sitting at workstations auditing the electronic ballot summation trails?
Have they checked postage meters for evidence of backdating?

With all due respect, this guy is whitewashing the current system, which has evolved significantly since 4 years ago (something he omits mentioning and apparently also omitted considering)— in particular, mail-in balloting, mail-in ballot processing, and the potential for vote fraud abuse in these processes. the potential for fraud is not news; it has been highlighted in the US media (or at least portions of it) ever since the 2018 California election, AT THE LEAST.
So this guy has said nothing except for admitting that he has had his head in the sand for the last two years in preparation for his current tour of “observation.”
As of this time the media is reporting “President Trump is offering no proof” while questioning election results in certain states,
I can se it now , ...." and over here Mr XXxx is where we store our provisional ballots when we need them ...."
