They are not irrelevant. They were designed to influence the vote and IMO to prepare the way in the Progressive vision of the future for election by polling. And I believe they were designed to discredit Trump’s actual vote count with the accusation that he must be cheating for the polls to be so off. Oh and I heartily agree with Rush’s stance that Luntz is actually blaming Trump supporters for the polls FUBAR.

Actually I hadn’t thought of what you say — they might be evidence of cheating. But people aren’t supposed to base their votes on what others are thinking. The believers in the polls are equally guilty if they swayed them.
