23,282 El Pasoans have cast ballots on #ElectionDay2020, according to the county Elections Department.
Thats in addition to 222,149 ballots cast during early voting.
HALF of El Paso registered voters have now voted.

From El Paso to Orange, Texans are turning out in big numbers for President Trump.
omgosh... i hope this is true.. but how do you know???
So, that would set Trump back about 15K.
I don’t know what to think of these numbers in El Paso county. It’s hard to believe Mexican Americans could be any more fired up to vote this time than in 2016. Looks like turnout will be much higher this time.
Attended a Trump rally there earlier in the year and the turnout was bonkers and I think over 75% of attendees were Hispanics. 4hours prior, the line stretched out at least 12 blocks. I think hell do very well in El Paso!
El Paso County, Texas:
In 2016, Clinton got 69% of the vote. Trump 25.9%.
Isn’t El Paso a certified Blue Shithole?
Hispanics in the valley and El Paso have been hot really hard with Covid and a high death rate. Well have to see how this translates.
I hope you are correct, but my limited experience with El Paso is it (and ALBQ in NM) are certified insane Democrat territory.
50% is a bit low of a turnout. Travis County (Austin) was close to 65% prior to Election Day, while neighboring Williamson County was at 70% prior to today.
West El Paso where I live is about 60 percent Mexican. It is very nice for the most part. Very low crime. There are 2 giant Barrios down by the border that maybe are not so nice. The East side is pretty rough except for Ft. Bliss
my question as well...isn’t that beto country?
Exactly, although people in El Paso are voting more than they did 4 years ago, it’s still not keeping with the rest of the state. The rest of the state for the most part is much more red! So I think it’s good news.
The higher turnout is good for Trump.
says here 49.15% voted in 2016. This is not good news: https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/historical/elpaso.shtml
It is, yes.
I’ve flown into Ft. Bliss (really BIF — Biggs) more times than I can count, and didn’t really leave the base that much.
But it’s insanely blue, from what I saw.
So much of Texas is blue — Houston, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, and, to a lesser extent, San Antonio.
The rural/smaller town people (Midland, Lubbock, Abeliene, east Texas) have to come out in record numbers.
Well it looks like early voting in El Paso beat the totals for 2016 by about 9.5% which is just about what the rest of the state did.
