We dropped of our ballots at City Hall last Thursday. We’re going to drive past our city’s polling places a couple of times throughout the day to see what it looks like.
It’s sunny and calm this morning. Cool — yeah, but it’s not uncomfortable without the wind, which may pick up later. (We’re about 20 mins south of Detroit.)
Got a text from my son, who lives in a nearby city. He was in a rather long line about 10 minutes before the polls opened. He was wearing his Wilkow Majority shirt, mostly covered up with a jacket.
Not being an a$$, but it’s Scot-Irish. However, scotch is an alcoholic beverage very much enjoyed by Scots. It’s a pretty common mistake. Lá maith agat!
Putnam County NY, Republican Fort Apache with Manhattan and Westchester to the south. Arrived at 6:15 and long line, an hour and 15 minutes later had voted for Trump! Line never got shorter as we waited.
In my rural polling place in another state, there were only 3 or 4 other voters there this morning. If I had been in an urban place in a swing state, I would have stood in a line a mile long to vote.
The bravest and most disciplined voters will win. Are you a Republican or a Republican’t?
The more difficult the weather, the better! Let’s go for the national popular vote! Take the wind out of their sails, and they’ll stay home and cry instead of rioting.

I grew up across the river in Orange County. I’m thinking that NY will be closer than anyone could imagine.
I voted by mail (dropping my ballot of at my township drop box,) but I drove by my polling place this morning about 7:45 AM and the line was at least 200 yards long. The line wouldn't have been so long if it weren't for the attempted enforcement of social distancing in the line.
Normally the line there snakes down the hallway of the middle school, and only when the line is extremely long are you outside. This time it looks like everybody is outside.

I noticed I haven’t heard Senator Debbie Stabmenow (D MI) in a single Biden/Harris ad. You’d think she’d be all-in behind the she-VP and abortion ticket.
IF this ‘nurse’ thinks voting for Biden will increase her PPP supplies, lower her risk of contamination from the Virus, and improve her future-—She shouldn’t be making life & death decisions with other people’s lives.
