If I remember correctly, over 40 GOPes retired right before the 2018 election. With that happening The Mickey Mouse Party could have taken control of the House.

We lost the House cause 30 incumbents lost.
We held most of our open seats and of the opens we lost, the incumbents likely would have lost as well except for a couple.
