President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden each has a path to the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the White House. Biden’s is appreciably wider.
The former vice president is competitive in all the battleground states Trump carried in 2016 and has put a handful of traditional Republican states, including Georgia and Arizona, in play. That has Trump scrambling to defend a wide swath of territory and putting the incumbent’s hopes for reelection on two of the most populous swing states, Florida and Pennsylvania.
A look at the most likely roads to victory:
BIDEN
TRUE NORTH
Biden can win an electoral majority most simply by carrying the three states where Trump stunned Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST
If Biden loses Pennsylvania, it would require him to find 11 electoral votes elsewhere.
THE REST IS EXTRA
There’s another scenario for Biden: a more comfortable Electoral College victory.
Should Biden win Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and either Arizona and North Carolina, he would capture at least 290 electoral votes.
TRUMP
FLORIDA OR BUST
Trump almost certainly cannot reach 270 electoral votes without carrying Florida, where polls show a tight race. Some have suggested a slight Biden advantage.
PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE
Even if Trump nets Florida and holds battlegrounds he won in the South and Southwest, he would still be short of 270 electoral votes.
THE REST ISN’T THE BEST
Even if Trump wins Florida and Pennsylvania, he would still be short of the magic number if he can’t carry most of the states he won in 2016.

The press is the same whether they are news networks or hobby magazines. They need to come up with new material to fill the pages so people will buy their magazines or watch their air time.
I’m 67 and I’ve noticed a pattern similar to what I saw in my bicycling magazines back in the day. Every spring we got the latest “prepare your bike for the season” articles. Every fall we got the “winterize your bike” articles.
Etc.
They just went through the same cycle of stories every year with minor twists and of course updates on the latest products.
So I cancelled my subscription and figured I could just reread my articles from the previous year.
And that is what the press is doing with the election. Same old stuff we’ve seen every two years, only now applied to a 24 hour news cycle. The difference is that they are full of predictions that may or may not be accurate and, lately, as they’ve become hopelessly biased and, quite litereally, a tool of the satanic left, become wildly inaccurate - like in 2016.
I dumped TV in 1997. This may be why I’m immune to this stuff and all the CV19 warnings. Rather than getting inundated with it via news and PSA’s, I only hear about it when I see an article worth reading or video worth viewing.
Is the AP predicting or (horrors) PRAYING?
In 2016 there were ever so many predictions that Trump had “NO PATH” to 270, it was fact, it was meaningless to hold an election, Hillary had it locked up! So now the AP is at least admitting there is a ‘path’ to 270 for Trump. That is PROGRESSIVE of them!

Although he's too stupid to know that he's losing, he's starting to look more like a hostage. After the speech he literally shuffled away from the podium, then tried to correct by doing a little jog but had to stop jogging and ask, "oh we're going this way". Anyone watching objectively would see a puppet for the leftist elites.
Republicans will vote in as large, if not larger, percentages for Trump as they did in 2016. Will democrats and independents vote for Biden/Harris as they did in 2016? Granted, without Kaine the crazy clown turnout will be down.
