MAKES SENSE. SMART MOVE.
The DNC had planned on holding it’s election night party in Joe Biden’s basement, but they cancelled that a week ago citing the China virus concerns.
Victory can be celebrated in many places.
Now it’s ‘probably cancel’.
I thought Eric had already announced it was cancelled.
Stay tuned.
Rope-a-dope.
Makes absolute sense..its a national security risk, why even bother doing it..stay safe in the White House that is the most important thing..doing something like this would have been really dangerous to do..in normal times, absolutely, wonderful idea, but now, not good!
Never mind COVID. That location will have a huge bullseye on it for the deranged mob, especially if it looks like he’s going to win. Better to not endanger his guests.
Odds are good that given a Trump blowout the left would descend on the hotel and incite mayhem and destruction.
Ping
Not reading anything into this other than remembering what the crap for DC citizens did to Rand Paul and many others when leaving the White House after PDT RNC Speech.
Just wait. 3.. 2.. 1..
Trump: “I might cancel Election Night party...”
MSM: “Trump says he’ll cancel Election Night! REEEEEEEEEEEEE!”
They ARE that scummy and dishonest.
THEY ARE PLANNING RIOTS NATIONWIDE
I think he knows that is going to be a working evening for him.
He does not want a lot of celebrating supporters and donors looking for him to speak and spend time with them when he will be working.
It would also create another location that needs protection where the White House protection is already well planned.
A smaller function at the White House makes sense.
Actually, it would be fun to have POTUS, FLOTUS and family sitting comfortably in their living room with selected guests. They could make comments as the returns come in.
Nothing fancy, a family setting with the entire nation watching.
Recall the comments made here four years ago when shillary cancelled the fireworks.
Roving bands of Antifa rioters are planning to take to the streets of downtown DC election night. I just stayed there for a weekend...one block from the Trump Hotel. It’s a ghost town.
Good plan Donald. Hardly a business is open now in downtown DC......
DC Mayor’s COVID restrictions - 50 people max.
