The leftist will spit on the day they ever supported the radical wing of the party. They will curse the day they came out against law enforcement and even allowed their own constituents businesses burn and looted. Remember, the riots primarily happened in leftist towns.
You can be a left leaner, but when your local/state governments stand back and allow your livelihood become brutalized....you’ll lose their support.
