New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed off on a bill that will release thousands of inmates early beginning the day after Election Day.
Murphy endorsed the legislation on Oct. 19, paving the way for an estimated 2,088 prisoners to walk out of prison on Nov. 4, NJ Advance Media reported.
About 1,000 more inmates are set to be released ahead of schedule through January of 2021.
The early releases are expected to reduce the state’s prison population by as much as 20 percent, The New York Times reported.

The more prisoners that are released the more the people in New Jersey become like prisoners in their own homes. It becomes increasingly dangerous to go out.
The day after the election?
Guess the Guv is anticipating the need for a particular skill set.
So Murphy knows Trump will win, so he does this out of spite simply because Trump wins. Maybe he will get a visit from one of his beneficiaries just to say thanks.

So much for visiting Jersey in the future. My wife is going to be there for much of November and December. She voted for Biden. I will have to remind her of the consequences of that choice.
“NJ residents are insane”. Not all of us and certainly not the poor people who will suffer when this happens. Unfortunately we have a large number of very liberal people who vote people like Murphy into office. He won’t be dealing with muggers or street crime . I won’t either as it happens
I live in the woods. But I know a lot of good law-abiding Newark residents who will sleep with their guns..

Release them in front of the governor’s home and his kid’s school.
Definitely time to be well armed, and to carefully watch those who are vulnerable.
Then he can claim that his state’s prison population is at an all time low; takes credit for low crime rate in his state.
PS in a recent poll NJ is the lowest state people want to visit.
