I won’t wear a effing mask doing any job. Period. My online teaching gig (pay is total shit, as it’s adjunct pay). Can survive on it living and teaching in the Philippines. Idiot center director wants to force us to return to face-to-face classes, with wearing of a face shield and a face mask. Sure the pay is better, but I can’t wear the things more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time. While I was still in Colorado, I stayed mainly in conservative Weld and Larimer Counties. Not anal about masks, unlike Boulder County.
Luckily the Games Department Head and all games development faculty said ix-nay to returning to campus. Not gonna happen. Teaching with it on is like running all conversations through a bad McDonald’s drive thru speaker.
