Well it is looking more and more like Kavanaugh is another Roberts. Trump made a bad pick. And it looks like the democrats are free to conduct massive vote fraud. And judges, and not legislatures get to decide how to run an election. Meaning that Kavanaugh is no constitutionalist.

So... the legislature required a witness signature, but the courts now say it’s not required ? Is that right?

In what universe is that OK?

If those are the new rules, we need to start playing by them.

Well, we need to win NC with a blowout so they can’t steal it.

its been noted that SCOTUS wants to make a final sweeping, definitive ruling on VBM and deadlines after the election if necessary...

that will affect ALL STATES, not just individual ones.

You would be wrong. If the state delegated rule making authority to the board it is not the place of the Supreme Court to gainsay the legislature. The problem is that often rule making authority is given without limits to that authority being made clear. Poorly written laws result in broad interpretation of rule making authority. It is not the job of the court to fix that.

Any North Carolina car parades on Saturday need to be changed to a Souls to the Polls rally. If you’re in NC get the list of registered voters who didn’t vote yet, and get them to vote, especially the occasional voters. Contact you’re local republican club or board of elections. If they’re going to mess with us, let’s make their cheating worthless.

That ruling is an effort to defeat Trump. North Carolina is very important.

Kavanaugh is proving to be a bad pick. Amazing he’s siding with those who tried to destroy him.

Both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh love to play footsie with the Democrats on the court. No doubt Roberts is managing that bit of beltway theater.

IF the North Carolina state legislature had delegated rule-making power to the North Carolina State Board of Elections, then in my mind, even though I want Pres Trump to win overwhelmingly, this is the right verdict.

If the GOP controls the North Carolina state legislature, they need to get off their asses and change the law to remove the delegated law making power.

This is actually pretty cut and dry. I hate when law makers delegate their power to unelected bureaucrats, but that’s what they often do to avoid looking bad and it always ends up screwing over we the people.

One blog speculated that Kavanaugh wished to show deference to the North Carolina State Board of Elections because the state legislature had delegated rule-making power to it.

I believe that's unconstitutional.
