What is frustrating is not knowing what procedure the SC will follow. Does Roberts alone get to decide? Does Roberts decide if the SC as a whole review it? Finally, why, why, why isn’t such needed background included within these stories?

If five justices agree to hear it, it is then heard.

Roberts can be one of the majority or minority, but I count five conservatives:

Thomas
Alito
Gorsuch
Kavanaugh
Barret
