I'm all for reasoned risk management. You have to balance risk vs reward. Be careful about buying into this "But gosh, if it saves even one life..." justification for stomping on freedoms and liberties.
This same "logic" has been used to advocate for un-Constitutional "gun control" legislation.
If you're going to try to wipe out all risk - to save even one life - then we had better stop things like skydiving, motorcycling, extreme sports, control diets and exercise...
You can prevent a lot more deaths by taking cigarettes out of people’s mouths, taking their car keys away, taking their snow skies away, Making everyone who is walking in the street wear a safety vest and carry a red flag, taking away their beer, wine, whiskey, forcing everyone to give up red meat and processed foods....

Hey, Governor Evers is doing the GOP a favor with his warning to avoid crowds. We aren’t going to pay a lick of attention to him. As polling shows, however, it’s Dem voters that are most fearful of the virus and therefore most likely to heed his advice.
I’ll vote on election day in a liberal area. It will be interesting to see if anyone walks up, sees a line with more than 5 or 6 people in it, and turns around hoping to come back later. If they do, they’ll most likely be Dem voters walking away.
