Waiting for some of the usual suspects to come here and chastise President Trump for holding a rally when it was so cold.
People who have lived in Omaha their whole lives don’t realize it gets cold this time of year, especially at night, and there is going to be tons of traffic at a Trump event.
Yeah, sure WaPo. Bite me.
“””””President Trump took off in Air Force One 1 hr 20 minutes ago, but thousands of his supporters remain stranded on a dark road outside the rally,” tweeted CNN’s Jeff Zeleny.”””””””
Sure. If you say so.
What were these “airport roads” jammed with at 9:00 pm?
But Biden remained warm in his basement.
Barf alert!
Chuckle.
The Washington Post won’t even talk about the huge crowds at Trump’s rallies until a bus breaks down, then suddenly there are huge crowds of Trump rally goers shivering in the cold who can’t go home.
Hey Washington Post, I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump.
He never has hundreds of supporters, period.
At least they weren’t in downtown Portland or Philly.
That two...
They should RIOT (peacefully protest, sorry)! Burn some liquor stores and loot some big screens! That will show them.
Biden actually had this weird event at a highway rest stop in Georgia. It looked like a cross between Lawn Darts and Musical Chairs.
It’s Nebraska in late October...that’s not cold to them.
If I had to guess... I would say that this was deliberately orchestrated by someone who hoped to punish Trump supporters. It seems like more than simple stupidity. It is also interesting the way this and several other articles were written saying there were hundreds of supporters when in fact there were thousands.
Written by a moron who has never been near Nebraska in the winter.
Hearing from people today who were there, everyone is positive and happy they went. Transportation was a problem with city planning and resources. All of those people were there hours before the event even started and the shuttle problems didn’t dampen the enthusiasm for Trump.
Yep, I suspect local sabotage. Somebody with the campaign must have had to contract out for these shuttles that did not appear.
This says 6,000 went to the rally. I think I saw somewhere else that it was 29,000. ?? I wonder which is correct.
I would also not be surprised that there was some sabotage involved in getting the buses through, after the event. Omaha knows how to run these types of events, and would have had a workable plan, IMO.
