The Great COVID Lie

Until COVID-19 hit, President Donald Trump was on a glide path to reelection. On domestic policy, Trump's tax and regulatory cuts spurred the economy to heights unseen in 50 years; his Department of Education cracked down on the star-chamber courts applied on college campuses in cases of alleged sexual misconduct; he has appointed scores of well-qualified constitutionalist judges, including three Supreme Court justices. On foreign policy, Trump is the first president of my lifetime not to enter any foreign wars; he has brokered historic peace deals in the Middle East between Israel and Arab countries; he has stood up to Chinese predations in unprecedented ways.

If this election had been held in February, Trump likely would have won. And he likely would have won rather easily. That's because Trump's often-terrible rhetoric would have taken a back seat to his actions, and Americans' pessimism about Trump's character would have taken a back seat to their optimism about his agenda.

The economy, thanks in large part to overwrought lockdown policies, collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of Americans died. And Trump's rhetoric blunders took on renewed seriousness as Americans looked for steady leadership and instead found the usual Trumpian stew of bloviation and exaggeration and ire.

COVID has become the Democrats' chief electioneering ploy. Their argument is patently wrong and immoral. It is an argument repeated ad nauseum by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, as well as their allies in the media. The argument, expressed by Biden, is this: "220,000 Americans dead ... Anyone who's responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America."

But, of course, Trump isn't responsible for those deaths. Trump should have spoken sooner about wearing masks; he should have acted with more alacrity in developing testing. But COVID has spread throughout the world, killing hundreds of thousands, and is now spreading nearly unchecked throughout Europe, where lockdowns and masking have been prevalent for months. In fact, Democratic governors praised Trump for giving them the ventilators and personal protective equipment they sought; the White House's Operation Warp Speed has accelerated the development of a vaccine in historically unprecedented ways. The hardest-hit states in terms of death per millions were nearly all states with governors who did not follow Trump's preferred anti-lockdown policies.

Just as important, Democrats have never provided an alternative plan with regard to COVID. Biden's stated plan -- to accelerate a vaccine, to socially distance, to mask more, to create local authority for targeted lockdowns -- is no different from Trump's. Biden was holding packed rallies into early March. Democrats have repeatedly condoned or celebrated massive rallies of millions of people during the pandemic, so long as those rallies meet with their political approval.

The narrative that Trump is responsible for COVID'S death toll, then, is a religious argument, not a factual one. It is reliant on a perverse view of the universe by which Trump is responsible for all evil, a miasmatic orange Satan haunting the land. And, the theory goes, if Trump is excised, COVID will be controlled by someone with a steadier hand.

That's nonsense. The pandemic will continue on Nov. 4, no matter who is elected. But so long as Trump is labeled the true scourge, rather than COVID, Trump will pay the political price. And the so-called Party of Science will continue to promote that anti-scientific lie all the way up through Election Day.

And, the theory goes, if Trump is excised, COVID will be controlled by someone with a steadier hand.

The key thing is the role that Fear is supposed to play. This isn't about the virus at all. This is about Fear as tool.

We now have mountains of evidence that masks don't work, lockdowns don't work, the virus is not very deadly, and the statistics are largely false (50,000 heart attacks marked down as COVID-19 deaths?).

If the experts and the pundits go on TV and tell everyone to be afraid, then a lot of people will be afraid.
If the experts and the pundits go on TV and say, "We've been taking a careful look at the data on masks, lockdowns, mortality, and use of statistics, and we feel that the danger has passed …" then people will stop being afraid.

This pandemic is "here" only if the Powers That Be want it to be here. It's not a real thing. It's a weapon of Fear. They can make it go away on Nov 4 if they want to.

I think it is a weapon of Fear created by the Left to protect the Globalists from Trump. If Trump is re-elected, the virus no longer serves a purpose. If Biden is elected, the virus will have accomplished what it was supposed to accomplish.

I think this thing will fade rapidly within the next few weeks.

If you look at the timing of the Covid 19 origins, which was created in a Wuhan, China Lab, then you must conclude that the Chinese created the virus in order to tank President Trump’s Presidency and ensure that their puppet Joe Biden is elected. Trump had been the first to jerk them back to try to level the playing field and stop their abuses. When he hurt their economy and made it clear that he would not let them proceed with ‘business as usual’, then they unleased the plague on the world. Why is it that you never hear of Chinese Covid infections or deaths? With the revelations of how much Biden was bought and paid for by the Chinese (and probably many others), then it is apparent that China has an undeclared war against Trump and the United States. The House impeachment started in December, 2019, while the Covid 19 virus was effectively released to the US and the world. How much has China invaded our political infrastructure?

How is the biggest HMO on the West Coast currently handling CV 19 in its clinics and hospitals?

In late March of this year, it would have been easiler to get into the NSA or CIA than into any of this HMO’s hospitals, if you were a family member of a patient in a Hospital of this HMO>

If your loved one had a severe health problem or needed emergency surgery, you could not even go into the hospital with your loved one. You had to park in the parking lot and could not come into the hospital to be with your loved one. This was SOP for most hospitals in America and still is.

We had friends, who had dropped off relatives at the ER doors of this HMO and couldn’t see them again, until they were discharged. Even then the patients were brought out to the curb to be loaded into their family’s vehicle. The relatives could not go inside the hospital. Again, this was apparently SOP at hospitals across America.

All of these precautions were apparently based on the current data at that time on CV19 re transmission and so called lethality of CV19.

Even in mid August, rules re going into this HMO’s hospitals/clinics were very stringent. I was re scheduled for September for foot surgery.

The foot doctor wanted me to have some heavy duty pain pills so he ordered a small amount at their pharmacy in my home town. Again this was Mid August, 2 months ago.

We had to park at special signs and phone the pharmacy. They sent a pharmacy tech out to check my ids and HMO card. Then, he escorted me to the parking lot entrance. 2 RN’s did separate electronic temp checks, and I signed a note that I felt okay. Again my member card and California ID was checked. My wife had to stay in our car and was told she could not get out.

Then, I was escorted to what had become a huge waiting room. After about 10 minutes I was escorted to the pharmacy tech to get my rx. Then, the pharmacy tech escorted me to my car and my wife was still inside the car. Then, a uniformed security guard told me to follow him to exit the parking lot.

Flash forward to the 3rd week of September for my foot operation, and their CV 19 world had changed.

We went into the hospital via the parking lot, and we had 2 temp scams from big machines attached to the ceilings. Real RNs in that area told us that we could go to where my operation would be done. That was it. The temp checks at the door to the hospital.

Post op, my wife brought me down in a wheel chair. I was loaded into the car, my wife drove me home.

A couple of weeks later, we went back to the hospital to have my stitches removed. There were no RN’s manning the entrance. A security guard was there and told us to go on to where we were going. He said that the temp checks had been done. We did not hear the process that we heard before.

We walked unescorted to the foot clinic. After my stitches were removed we left. Again no escorts.

Today, 27 October, I went to our local HMO clinic for some lab tests. I had zero temp checks. I was just asked if I had a fever or didn’t feel good. I told them that I was fine. They gave me a disposable mask and that was it. No escorts to the lab. I went there and got into line like other patient. After about 10 minutes, five of us were called to go into the drawing station. I had to show my picture ID again.

After my blood was drawn, I left the lab unescorted and went to our vehicle. I asked the parking lot guard if I could leave our vehicle there for a few minutes, while we walked to a grocery store across the street. He said no problem and walked away. We brought our groceries, walked back to our car and said Hi to the security guard and left.

Unknown to us a friend had dropped off another friend at the local hospital (non HMO) at their ER doors. This hospital is about 6 blocks away as a sober crow can fly. Our friend, the driver could not go into the other hospital and drove home. She came back in a couple of hours to pick up the dropped off friend, post her procedure. Again no entrance to the hospital, the patient was wheeled out and loaded in our friend’s vehicle.

So what has changed at this major HMO re their Covid 19 precautions in less than 3 months?

Obviously, their real data/reality is totally different than the daily Covid B$ we are fed here on Free Republic, via the mediots and our Karens!

Why aren’t the patients at this huge HMO dropping and dying like flies after be exposed to the dreaded CV19?
