To the editor:
Republicans and President Trump have been chanting
about a Big Red Wave sweeping across Minnesota and
all across America. That is true, however, what is it
that is generating that wave? Is it President Donald J.
Trump? Perhaps.
It is more so now than four years ago, but what caused
the wave four years ago? Its the same wave this election
cycle, but it is much bigger than it was then. Where is
all this energy and enthusiasm coming from?
I believe all of this is coming from something bigger
than President Trump, although he has been the spark.
Its called patriotism, love of country, freedom,
liberty and our Constitution. These are the things
that is generating all of this energy and enthusiasm.
We, the people are the silent majority that are silent
no longer.
More than any other election of our lifetime, this election
will determine what kind of state and nation we will be for
the next several generations. Our freedom, our liberties
and our right of property is at risk.
Be part of the big red wave and vote on Nov. 3.

I hear the Fat Lady warming up.
When Reagan was running for office, the colors were Blue for
Republicans and Red for Democrats.
We let them do that without so much as a whimper.
What's more, so that nobody would be able to tell if that
was true or not, they have gone all the way back and
changed every single election map I could find, to Blue
for Democrats and Red for Republicans. I'm talking
clear back to the 1930s.
Here is one I was able to find that had the original colors
left in tact. It's from 1972.
Any way you look at it it’s going to be a “Big Red Wave” if you catch my drift.
Seems weird that of all of the States Reagan lost in 80, West Virginia was one of them, doesn’t seem to make sense.
Whoops. I thought it was from Nixon’s last run. It was
Reagan’s first. 1980, not 1972...
Yeah, does seem strange.
That’s the song!
That’s the hope.
You can’t wear Trump gear to vote, but you could wear a red shirt. :-)
Red Wave incoming!!!! I think you might see some states flip and I think 50 house seats will flip to R and I think we might be +3 in the Senate. Trump will have coattails...
Catch the wave!
It is interesting how West Virginia use to be very liberal and now they are solid for GOP except their choice of a US Senator.
Don’t be complacent-get out and vote and don’t wait for election day-dems will play games then
