I live in this district. This is the seat formerly held by Tom Delay. The current backbencher, Pete Olson decided to retire, throwing it up for grabs. I see a lot of TV ads for Kulkarni, or I should say negative ads against the republican Troy Nehls. As I have said on other threads, this district has lots of Mideasterner’s, judging by the crowds I see at Costco. It’s really the Sugar Land/Stafford/Missouri City area, not Houston.
