Its not so old that is doesnt have USB, SD, HDMI and a DATA port

So maybe there is a smartTV box that would allow streaming with the toshiba

Yes! If you have an HDMI port, you are golden!

All you need is a Roku streaming device. They’re inexpensive, as well. (Walmart/BestBuy/Amazon, etc)

We have one on an older/non-SmartTV, that has HDMI.

We watch just about everything, on that TV, that we do on the cable connected TVs.
